What kind of biography do tmaterials acquire as they move through time and space under colonialism?

This series of Hejabāt/amulets explores the biography of materials within the framework of Indigenous folk medicine practices, and how they embody healing powers inherent in acts of resistance to colonialism.

These experiments are part of my ongoing research project “Resistance is an Amulet” , which I am currently developing during my artistic residency at MMAG Foundation
